That looks like a lovely car, currently looking at CSL reps for mine which has the 326's and this just reminds me how good they look ....

That is a lovely looking Z, :D

Is space grey the same as mineral grey?

I did notice someone has pinched your proper aerial

Great looking E89, with a stunning interior - lovely.

It sounds like you may have been fairly easily persuaded - hardly surprising for a car like that!

No, that's blatant Z4 abuse - whippy is the way to go (if you want to hear the radio instead of static)! :fuelfire:

We swapped our whippy for a stubby in the first week of owning our car.
After almost 5 years we have not had any static caused by bad reception.
If we did and it was bad we would have stuck the whip back on.
Dont know if it makes a difference but we have a genuine BMW stubby.
The reason that we swapped in the first place was because we swapped on the previous car as the aerial hit the garage door every time it went in and out and thought they looked better.

That may be it - my stubby was a Peugeot/Citroen one (cheap for a reason I suppose)!

But now I'm getting garage jealousy, mainly because I don't have one. :(

Mine is the genuine Peugeot/Citroen one (about £7 off a Citroen dealer on eBay) and it hasn't given me any static or poor reception where I live. Depends where you are I guess.
