New Zed Leeds

Hi guys,

I'm a proud new owner of a Zed.

I went for the 2004 3.0i model in black with the amazing red leathers with the hard top. Ideal for winter.

Comes with a range of extras from the 6 cd changer to the heated memory seats. Although there are a few additional options I would like (mainly steering wheel controls).

I'm not sure if any pics got updated onto my signature/profile but I hope the links below work

Thanks

Welcome along. Re the windows, they probably just need resetting. Simple procedure so search the forum. Good luck.

Welcome to the forum. Sure you will have every thing sorted in no time. Zed looks great in Black. 8)

Hi and welcome.

Hope it wasn't sold you you as a 3.0si as it's only a 3.0i The 3.0si wasn't made until the face lift model cae out in 2006.

Regarding the window, look up on here how to perform the reset procedure.

Thanks guys.

I appreciate all your comments.

I will try the window reset soon, and hopefully it'll solve it.

Regarding the 3.0si and 3.0i difference- this is my mistake, I assumed all were 3.0 si's- my bad.

P.S I'm not sure how to reference someone via this reply, so I hope you guys above are reading this.

:)

You've got it
We have a meet at the turnpike just off the m62
Between Leeds an Manchester
Keep an eye out for it

Congrats!

Get some tools and start getting your hands dirty is step one.
I have an OE perforated leather handbrake handle. Look at getting a zhp or an f10 illuminated one, then change your transmission oil. You can get steering wheel controls for about £250, or a new wheel I you don't have the sport for £450.
With the age look at refreshing your suspension and perhaps your shocks too.

Thanks for that Steve,

Sounds like a fair bit considering I've just splashed out on the car. WIP for the time being I guess
