Eventually put my hand in my pocket and splashed out on what my wife calls another 'toy' car!

So I now have 2 'toy' cars and a full garage

Z4MR and VX220.

Z4M is a 2006 roadster with 44000 miles on the clock.

Fantastic condition and massive spec.

Remote roof operation with Key

Carbon leather Dash & Console

By the time I had got home from the 3 hour drive to collect the car, I had tried every button and switch and worked out what I understood and what I didn't.

Must thank you guys for the mass of information on this site which sorted out Bluetooth connection, Sat Nav voice instructions and resetting the clock. :thumbsup:

I still have some issues so will ask further questions on separate posts so not to confuse this one.

Car is going to off the road for a couple of weeks while I change to a private plate - insurance company wanted 2 admin fees to change insurance from VX to Z4 and then to change from original to private plates. Total joke. :headbang:

Will give me time to have wheels changed to shadow chrome which looks absolutely fantastic. Got a price from a local company -£65 per wheel - they do the wheels for the local BMW dealer. :thumbsup:

Lovely zed - always liked that color. Also great to find a VX220 owner on here - we used to have a Turbo but it went in favor of something better supported and more comfortable....

Hopefully not a VX220 owner for much longer :D

Taking too much room in the garage.

Just holding out for the right price.

Car advertised for just over £15K. Unbelievably someone offered £10K for cash.

No :headbang: - I'm just going to change them when I have the wheels done.

Seemed too good a car to miss for £200.00

You guys say that prices are on the up so hopefully I will recover the cost soon :P
 
They seem to be going up. BMW Leicester has a roadster up for just under 24k now.

Looks like the front bumper needs slight adjustment where it meets the bonnet. Nothing major just loosen the few bolts and push back and re tighten.
