New Z4MC

Sorry, so the one at Parklane is known? The advert says fsh, but it seems from the chats above that's not the case? I would prefer silver, but it's a lot less money with fewer miles.... Should it not. be a no brainier?...

From what Andi says, it has a full service history, but he lost the service book. Parkway are trying to recover the old stamps from the dealers who performed the services, but may not have recovered all stamps as yet.

But as Andi says, yes it has FSH.

If it all checks out, then yes it's a no brainer. The difficulty for you will be to figure out why it is 10-15% cheaper than everything else. These are cars with potentially expensive repair bills, so make sure you do your research.

From what ive seen & read on this forum over the last 12 months,id say that these cars dont seem to sell very fast if the service history is anything less than spot on,speaking personly I wasnt prepared to buy one that I knew would be harder to sell when the time comes because of this fact, running in sevice on time is a must have, also imo the car should not have gone more than 24 months without a service,as specified by bmw, personly I dont let cars like this ive owned go more than 18 months without a service, regardless of mileage,I only do 3000 ish a year.
Some very helpful & knowledgeable guys on here,so id listen to the advice, could save you alot of grief, they've certainly helped me no end,.

Cheers. The more I think about it the more the churches one appeals, i will just need to ensure the warranty is nationwide as they are some distance from me!

Hi Mark - Welcome

I recently was in the same situation as you and am lucky enough to own an MC.

With the car hunt being a little bit of an addiction! I still keep a look out for prices specs availability etc..

This looks like a nice low mileage example -

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/bmw/z4m-coupe/bmw-z-series-z4-m-coupe----------------2007/2212911

I would have seriously considered going to see had not found mine. BTW - I ended up going BMW AUC route, haggled hard and got a good deal I was happy with.

Out of interest do you know anyone who has owned one? I am guessing you have searched for 'what to look for when buying etc'

all the best with the hunt.
