I've only seen that on one M Coupe which may be yours? Reg YE57 ***
I think it looks gorgeous but can't help on how it was able to be spec'd.

It was very quick - in gear pace was phenomenal. Off the lights was a rather embarrassing affair however!

Did it have a mechanical LSDiff? I used to run a 240 bhp fwd Fiat Coupe. That used to get off the line great. Then you had to ease off the throttle, as the torque came in around 2k rpm :D
