Hello All,

Clearly new to this forum I have been an active member over on www.bmwcarmagazine.com for the last 5 years. With the addition of a Z4 to the driveway this Saturday I will I'm sure be looking for sound advice from you established members.

Any assistance on the following points would be welcome in the meantime,

1) Replacing the Wood grain interior with Piano Black or Carbon effect... (Can the existing be repainted effectively? I was told it could but am very sceptical)
2) Fitting of OEM wind shield.
3) Snap-in cradle for iPhone3GS.

I have contacted Cotswold BMW but any further info, or cheaper sources would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I am a new z4 owner and want the piano black dashboard too. It must be easy enough to spray so going to get some costs. Will let you know if I have any luck

Hi and welcome
Carbon wrapping is popular a few have done this ,just use the search link at top of home page .
Hope this helps

Welcome- piano can be done by Painting- some here have done so nut a decent job will be expensive

Actually I like the wood. I dream of sepang bronze, light sepang leather and wood. Oh and coupe of course! I doubt one like this actually exists, and this is probably why
i was talked out of it when I bought mine. That and the discount on a BMW stock car against a new build of my own.

Enjoy your car.

Hi ya... I have the piano black dash and it looks great clean - although a bugger for dust, finger prints and sh#tting myself about getting it scratched.....

Finally took some pictures..
2007, 15K miles...

The Wood grain interior is a little "Norfolk Broads" for me, so the Piano black replacement has been ordered, along with Wind deflector, Chrome hoop trims to match door handles and Reinhold module

are you selling the wood trim? how much?

Welcome! For what it's worth, I quite like that! It's the first time I've seen the wood trim in an M, and surprisingly it looks good, especially with that interior!
