New Z4M owner - first impressions

Hi guys, this is my first post just wanted to say hello. I purchased a Z4M Roadster this weekend off a chap called Liam who was from the forum. I believe the previous owner was also a forum member, so felt I should also follow suit.

It's a well cared for example and the drive home yesterday was incredible. I've owned a few cars but only twice have I ever thought 'this one's a keeper'.

Anyway, here's a picture taken on the way home yesterday. I have some plans for the car including wheel refurb, front bumper repray (stone chips), aftermarket parking sensor removal from the front (any ideas on how to do this would be appreciated), calliper respray in silver or blue with M logo.

I intend to keep the car standard as possible, the only modification I might make is to the exhaust but I'll see how I go first.

Nice move into ///M ownership at a great pricepoint , won't take much to tickle it into a real treasure
Same silver grey as the Mroady I had , they do come to life with minimal effort :) Enjoy yourself :thumbsup:

I agree and it looks well on whatever has been changed. My money would be on H&R springs as the Eibachs would be a in the middle between this and OEM.

Yep, definitely more like H&R if it's springs not coilovers. Worth checking if it is lowered as it will need to be declared on insurance to avoid invalidating it.
 
Thanks for the comments guys. Regarding the lowering, it has had Eibach springs (I believe they lower the car by 10-20mm). All declared to insurance which wasn't an issue.

I'm 2 weeks into ownership and I think the Z4M-R really is the perfect all rounder for me, agile sports car that feels raw and challenging when you want it to, but also a motorway cruiser when needed. Did a 400 mile roadtrip this weekend without issue.

It sure is a squeeze. I spent time in both yesterday and in some ways I'm actually enjoying the Z4M more! It's such a good all rounder and excellent in almost any scenario :D

Looks like a nice M you have there and joining a pretty epic stablemate but we see Z pics here all the time I want to see more of the Ferrari
