At present I have a 2003 3.0 Z4 but come sat 11th Feb I will be the owner of a 2009 E89 3.0SDrive Havana brown Z4 looking forward to picking it up.looking to put either 18" or 19" genuine BMW alloys on any advice please

Check the inner rims on the rear wheels carefully for signs of cracking, they're prone to it in the 19" size when running with runflats :thumbsup:

Nice move there :) Havana is a great colour & the E89 easily takes 19s without compromising the ride so i would head that direction & also head towards non runflat rubber .

Hi, great colour choise, mine has 19s on but not genuine BMW alloys I don't think and no cracks

Nice. I do,like Merlot, yet I think that Havana Brown is the new Sepang Bronze.

To be perfectly honest I was just looking to get a newer model of the E85 3.0 but I came across this E89 @ in mint condition inside & out unusual colour in Havana ( brown ) lol had a test drive & a little more refined in the interior & the drive & the benefit in having a convertible but in a hard top not everyone's choice but I like it time will tell hope I made a good choice what's your honest opinion

Yes nice contrast with cream leather interior pretty quick to , had to get rid of run flats so harsh a ride not sure if I'll have to do the same with the E89.
 
Hi, I found the e89 to be a bit less harsh compared to my previous e85 (m-sport suspension) Its still a good idea to change the runflats though as they seem prone to causing damage to wheels, especially in 19" sizes :x

Well to be honest I was looking just to get a newer model of the E85 3.0 but I came across this E89 3.0 SDrive mint all over & test drove it a little more refined inside & drove nice plus a convertible but with a hard top, had to ditch the run flats on the E85 due to harsh ride not sure if I'll have to do the same on this one what's your thoughts .
