Couple of snaps from today, decided to give it a clean, no real mods yet just sprayed my grill gloss black, debaged all round, new gear knob and just keeping it clean

Yes welcome . Agree the gear change is very unpredictable at times seems easier when the engine is warmed up.
As said a definate characteristic and yes higher revs helo.
Roof wise I've also used Renovo on my black roof with the sealent proofer and it has revived the look no end .
