Here is my new Z4 (crap picture i know) , purchased a couple of weeks ago, after a few questions on here
Picked up in the worst of the snow and drove it back from Chester to Exeter - which was a nerve racking experience.
Its a pre registered 28 m sport automatic with loads of extras (sat nav, heated seats, phone , internet (wtf ?) , office integration, BMW connect and god know what else) got a cracking deal the list price was 44k and i picked up for 28k.
When I first got it I wasn't sure about the auto box, i had just swapped my boxster and the car seemed a bit big and unwieldy and slow, however now I'm getting used to it i love it and the auto box in sport mode with flappy paddle gear changes is superb and the car is very fast when driven right.
A couple of quick questions:
The AM radio reception is terrible 90% of the time, it seems to wash in and wash out - is this normal ?
I have an IPHONE 5 and can get it to blutooth phone and music but not calendar , messages etc - anyone got this to work ?
Why on earth would you want internet access in a car ?
And if anybody is looking at the Z4 and thinking the connect iPhone app looks good (as i was) don't bother its crap
