New Z4! Picking her up Wed!

Hey all! I've been posting a bit in this thread (http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=20242), but promised I'd be back...

Well, like most major life-events, it happened faster than expected...!

Severance bonus from old job + week off gardening leave + welcome bonus from new job = time to change car!

I've been on e46zone.com for a couple of years, and would have put my 330 'vert up on there for private sale (partly due to the unusual colour scheme and low mileage of only 45k on a 54 plate), but had an AWESOME deal from a family friend dealer - by pure chance, when looking at my choice of cars on autotrader, the ONE car that had everything I wanted was being sold by him! He also sold me the 330, so was a logical move.

I test drove the Z4 for about an hour on my own and couldn't dream of looking back...

What did I get...?

The Zed! (name tbc!)
N52 3.0 si M-sport in Monaco blue
Auto box, flappy paddles, nav, auto fold mirrors, bluetooth, phone link, heated Oregon Pearl leather, only 10k miles.
Only negative are the damn MV2 alloys again on run flats. Not too worried about the run flats, but I HATE cleaning the MV2s!!

you need a stubby

Andy - I have the one from my e46, will that fit??

+1 Great colour combo and with the wheels just get some wash-monkey to do them for you instead! Welcome along Psy and enjoy the many miles ahead

PS - Stubby from E46 should fit fine.

Thanks all - today was D-day.

I have nothing to say except OH GOD WOW. :D

Why did I not get one of these earlier...
Sad to say goodbye to the e46 today, but wow is the e85 a driver's car...

Decent photos to follow tomorrow when my camera battery is charged and I've had a chance to wash/clay/wax etc, but here's a teaser:

Bye to the 330 Longbow:

Welcome and as said nice colour combo  you could always change to 108s and save on the cleaning but have corrosion probs instead :D but they would look superb with that colour

Lovely looking car and I like the MV2s on the Zed.
Just bought an E46 vert for her indoors and wouldn't mind a set of MV2s for that.

Hope you enjoy
