Was looking at a red one in Warrington yesterday while mine was in for MOT and service. What struck me was not the positives I like about it but the negatives. WAY too much gloss black trim used! this stuff is a nightmare to keep looking fresh and would have to be PPF wrapped if I got one - it is bad enough on the E89's A-pillars but to now have it on the front bumper, grille, front wing vents and trim between door glass and metal is madness.
I don't like being negative so I will say that I think the rear end is an improvement, the duck-tail is to my liking.

(oh, and just to add, I don't like the X5 door handles, don't match the car imho)

For me it's missing that classic Z styling cue that's been present from the Z3, the rear arches. The side profile is so boring and flat, it's got no hips.

The rest is ok the the pathetic boot spoiler is also not my cup of tea. Either you have a spoiler or you don't. :wink:

Fiat spider is another dead ringer. Happily that looks better in the metal than in pictures. I still live in hope that this also applies to the new zed

I did think about taking a look breifly on Saturday. Generally I'm someone who only spends, real world, time looking at cars when I am in the market to buy one. Much as I love driving They are just cars. :wink:

Pre EU exit? Oh yeah, sounds like it’ll go swimmingly.

Nice colour combo - one of the better ones. Have to say the seats wouldn’t look out of place in a £100k Maserati.

The strut bars in the second pic literally look like two pieces of scrap metal....they have no place in the engine bay of a £55k car (at least paint them black). When I opened the bonnet on the one last weekend I had to ask the sales chap if they were meant to be there
