Hi I have just purchased a 2.5 Z4 n love it - I want to tart the roof up a bit - what's the best roof cleaner and restorer and also best polish mine is metallic grey :roll:

Hi cheryl welcome to the forum congratulations on your purchase 
, i use Poorboys white diamond polish and liquid natty blue wax they are easy to work with
and give a great finish i also use the Poorboys wheel sealant. For the roof i used Meguiars roof cleaner then used G Techniq smart fabric to waterproof the hood.
Dont forget to put some pics up of your Z!.

welcome Cheryl and congrats on the purchase...someone will soon mention seeing pictures of your car but don't be offended!
In terms of polish there are many products out there that are polishes, waxes, glazes. if your an amateur like me then you can't go wrong with some poorboys products. websites like clean my car etc are a good start.

Hi and welcome to the Forum.
I use AutoGlym products - their Super Resin Polish is very easy to use - nearly wipe on and wipe off!
They have a roof cleaning and proofing kit - don't use too much of the cleaner or you'll be rinsing suds away for ages. You'll also end up having lots of cleaner left and will have used the proofing liquid up in about two applications - works though and comes with a coarse small sponge to work the cleaner into the hood. Make sure your roof drains are clear before you start applying lots of water to the roof - I use old towels to block the roof where it meets the rear of the boot to keep as much water out the motor space as possible.

Thanks everyone for all suggestions - I'm getting my son to get my cleaning n polishing stuff so I can have mine looking lovely n hopefully find out how to post a pic on here ha ha :wink:
