New Z4 Owner

Hi,
Just purchased a 2016 Z4 35i. This is my first BMW ever and I have a few questions. How much oil does it take when doing an oil change? Does it need pucks for jacking the car up? Also is there any information on the production numbers for that year? My car is Estoril Blue Metallic and I am just curious as to how many were made for the US market? I had a blast driving it home from the dealership today. Also just moved from New York to Florida which is going to be great for the convertible!

Hi and welcome, there should already be protection on the jacking points but to do an oil change I use the centre jacking point under the engine the only thing I need to do is drive the front wheels onto pieces of 4x2 wood to get my trolly jack under the car. An oil change takes comfortably less than 1 hour.

I use rubber pucks for jacking mine up, £5 each of of eBay and they work perfectly :thumbsup:

Enjoy your car in the Florida sunshine though from my experience of being there at times it’s probably too hot for the roof down :lol:

Sorry I can't help with your questions as I've only owned E86 models and yours is an E89.

Thank you for such a warm welcome and for the answers to my questions. We had to make room in the garage for the Z4 so I had her at my dad's so sorry for the delay in posting pictures.
