New Z4 owner with a cracked alloy (326 type)

Fair enough to ya!

I did use non run flats on my old 326's that had been previously welded, and they cracked again where they was welded... But I've not had any more cracks since running non run flats (Fingers crossed)

Now to repairing the rest of the car's faults...

Op, take the 326 alloys off and replace them with an aftermarket set of alloys that you like and non run flats.

The 326M alloys look nice, but they are ridiculously fragile.

I have also had 3 cracked rear alloys found by my dealership and was able to get one welded . Following my complaints BMW ran a run out test for free ? and made encouraging sounds about the results indicating money being stumped up by their good selves. I then recieved a request for my other wheels to be tested suggesting further recompense could be forthcoming . However BMW later contacted me saying they would not be putting their hands in their pockets after all.(surprise) Another day wasted.
Did anyone hear about a class action on going in USA?

Hi. I bought a Zed 3 months ago and after 1 month, my rear drivers side wheel cracked in 4 places! Massive pothole and inexperience of said 19”wheels. I have had it fixed professionally and no worries. I am replacing it soon but, it is possible to have them repaired. :roll

I ditched the beamer wheels and RF tires. The occasional pothole is no worry and she rides a dream.
