Hi all,

I purchased my Z4 a week ago :D and have been looking through this forum over the past few days. Some very informative and interesting posts. Decided it was time so sign up and get a bit more involved and to show you my new purchase.

The car is a Z4 3.0, 2003/53 plate, done 75,000 miles, Titanium Silver / Black Leather Electric memory seats, Sports pack, it was on 17" wheels when I bought it but I have just upgraded to a set of 18" MV2's. Really enjoying it so far, and love the roar of the 3 litre straight six.

I have posted some pics, let me know what you all think.

Martyn.

Here is the car when I bought it with the standard wheels

And here it is now with the larger alloys

It is, I wouldn't say the original wheels were offensive, but I believe wheels make the car. The set of 18's stand out a bit more, and fill the arch better.

I'm pondering what else to do to the car. Don't want to do anything drastic, just some subtle things for now. Does anyone know of any simple performance mods?

I assume when you say stubby, you mean a stubby aerial?

hello and welcome, nice car.
Yes, a stubby aerial. You can get them on ebay for around £8.00
If you go on to a sight called BM Town, you can get an induction kit for around £150.00, there is lots of other stuff there as well,

welcome

18's look much better.

Good shout! Could do with a full wash to be honest, was sparkling last Saturday, but now with all the rain it 's looking a bit tatty again.

Yeah, welcome. I have a 3 litre also (same year as yours but with 24k on the clock) love the sound when pedal pushed to the metal. Nice colour too!

Your Z looks gorgeous! That's the exact colour combo I was after - grey with red leather, looks great. I settled for mine because it was at a great price. Great mileage on yours too.
