New Z4 owner in Abingdon.

How remiss of me not to have introduced myself sooner. I could have course said that I have been enjoying my Z4 3.0i so much that I quite overlooked the opportunity to introduce myself.
I am now in my 69th year and enjoying life to the full having purchased my Z4 last July. It wasn't going to be a rushed decision, cars have been a hobby for most of my adult life. Having made the decision to move up from a Toyota MR2 Roadster to a BMW Z4 the question was which model. I test drove a number around Oxfordshire and was very fortunate to find a 3.0i with low mileage in exceptional condition and one owner from new. The car naturally had a full service history which is evident by its condition. That said I have had a couple of faults which have been remedied with little expense to myself. I'm very much aware that owning a twelve year old car may present some difficulties from time to time but for me that's part of the pleasure of the ownership.
My apologies for going on so but I do look forward to meeting like minded owners at this year's events and establishing all there is to know about owning a Z4 3.0i.
