New Z4 owner from Staffordshire

Hi all. My name is Tom and I've just bought myself a BMW Z4 for a bit of fun. It's a 2007 2.5L model. I love it. Looking forward to reading what sort of little cool things I can do to it

Welcome to Z ownership and the forum. If you don’t know already then the forum will teach you the difference between a whippy and a stubby. You’ll have lots of fun with the Z and we all want to see photos of your purchase.

Hi and welcome.
As said,be good to see some pictures.

Alot of info on here,so hopefully that will help with anything you need.

Enjoy your new z :driving:

Welcome from a fellow Staffordshire owner.
I know others will ask but let see some photos.
Enjoy :driving:

Welcome to the forum Tom.

There are loads of popular modifications you can do, like getting rid of run-flat tyres, new weighted gear knob (ZHP and Stormwerks seem to be the favourites), getting the roof motor relocated to the boot to prevent it getting wet and as already mentioned the whippy/stubby aerial choice.

Did anyone mention photos yet?

Welcome to the forum. I'm based in Stafford - hopefully I'll spot your car on the road. So get it clean and post up those pics! :D

Hi all, just cleaned her up.. so here she is..

Looking Good Tom  . What mods have been carried out so far ? Roof motor relocated. Clutch valve delete. Back box delete. Remote roof opening ??

Thanks bud.. think the guy I bought it off mentioned the motor has been moved, clutch valve delete and that's it as far as I know. I was told about remote roof down, that sounds a good idea. What's this stubby aerial thing people are mentioning? I'm a proper melt when it comes to cars. I know zero, other than how to drive haha

Your car is looking great Tom - I do like Piano Black trim!

Here's a photo of my previous Z4 with a stubby fitted.

Thanks mate. Ahh, cool, I see what you mean now. I'll get one ordered
Make sure you order a BMW one or at least something decent. I bought a stubby for mine and it was pants. The reception was worse than a Covid wedding. Put the whippy back on in the end.
