New Z4 Owner and Member

Hi all, been very interesting reading various posts I thought I'd say hello and introduce myself. I got my first Z4 about 6 weeks ago and love it. Its a 53 plate 3.0i Manual Roadster. Previous cars have included a Triumph Vitesse Mk2 Convertible (along time ago) a Rover SD1 V8 and a Honda Civic Type R so no pattern emerging then! I guess the Zed fills the 'gap' of the TR6 I never got but far exceeds it in all ways (except I hope the Z4 won't rust as happily as a TR6 will) Heres a couple of pics 'on the drive' I live in Merton SW London/Surrey border. Best bit of ownership so far:- entering Motorways on the slip-road faster than the traffic on it. Worst bit - speed bumps (learning to approach them at funny angles helps).

I am a fan of teasing traffic from slip roads - joining at a fair clip but not too fast, then flooring it :evil:
 
You must do ? I was surprised at how well the zed tackles 'em. Apart from those horrible rectangular ones were there are two horrible staggered ones in the road, that allow an ambulance to get it's wheels inbetween them without going across...... I realise that description might well only make sense in my head.

Agree completely with speed bumps etc, odd ramped car park entrances, awkward drive at work where it beaches ...All part of the fun, apparently. Smooth slip roads make up for it though :D enjoy!
