new z4 - new steering wheel

At last, I've finally purchased the Z4 I've been looking for for ages.

I've made a few compromises on little extras but thought I'd be able to add these after. The colour of the car and the interior were far more important.

The question I have is how easy is it to change tthe steering wheel ?

I test drove a 3.0si several weeks back and it had a much chunkier wheel which felt great ?, apparently it was the "si Sport" ?

Advice and an idea of cost would be appreciated...

thanks

Congrats

It's the M sport MFSW (multi-function steering wheel) you're after.
Could be or it could be the sport wheel in the Si. Useful things like thumb notches at 3 and 9 and a subtle swell just above. Not as thick as the M (which are a little thick for my hands) but definitely a step up from "standard".

Smokin - that's the same Steering wheel I already have (except mine isn't multi function).

I must be looking for the M Sport one then...

Once I change them over is there a market for the wheel I have ?? (same as the one in Smokin's pic but without the multi function ?)

Cheers

This will show you what you need and how to fit it...
Sideshowbob's M Steering Wheel How To

I bought a bald M wheel and fitted standard spokes (as in my sig). The wheel in the How To is the M Sport wheel for the Si models. The legitimate wheel has tri-colour stitching... and is suitably expensive.
