New Z4 E85 soon ...

Hi team :)
Well my brother like my Z4 (e89) and now he wants to buy a BMW E85 with 6 in line engine :rofl: :thumbsup: :driving:

A picture of the car (sorry mobile quality in street) and some informations :

- Owner (man 65 y/o)
- 2.5L Phase 1 model
- 118 000 kms
- Price : around 10K Euros

I need your help. Which part need to care attention before buying ?

That seems like an awful lot of money for that car, but maybe these are much more expensive to buy where you live. Are you in France?
 
Well i don't know exactly this model E85, i know better mine E89.
So how much for UK for example a E85 Phase 1 modele 2.5L with 110 000 Kms (approx) ?

Ps : it's right, Buy Market E85 in France is expensive :o :cry:

Depends on spec but maybe £4000ish (€4326)
 
Similar miles, 2.5 but a facelift model (2006)

Si ça t’intéresse j’habite en Bretagne et je vends une z4 2.5i de 2003 avec 91 000km. Grise, cuir noir, jantes 17, n’hésite pas à m’envoyer un msg en privé 🙂

Well next episode, i saw the z4 owner with the car :
- Not brilliant condition (some scratch rear bumper, scratch on passenger door)
- Oil engine not changed since 3 years :o (3000 kilometers in 2 years.... :?
- Roof (electric system ?) not working and not in good condition (not clean)
- Some failure on box electronic (near injection ?)
- Under cache (under engine) missing
- Leather (seats) in very bad condition
- Wheels in very bad condition

Well i am little disappointed :o
If owner is ok to sell at good price (8500 Euros), i think me and my brother can save this E85 with some work

Hi Phil,

I think the price of 8500e is too high for that condition.
You can probably import Swiss one (search autoscout24) or one from Germany (search mobile.de)? I don't know how taxes work in France.
You can get a really nice Z4 for that kind of money there.

I bought mine in Serbia 2 months ago (not really a market for this type of car but prices aren't dropping) for 7500e with 140.000km, 2.2 engine and beige leather interior.
Roof is also perfect, every single button works properly.
I'd look for another one if I was in your place although I understand if you want to get your hands dirty. :D
