Welcome - love your coupe and the colour

You will love it as a daily driver - I did 18k in mine in the first 18 months and didn't regret it - only stopped to keep the miles down-)

Auto is probably a good idea on a daily too - enjoy :-)

Thanks for the greetings, I'm currently doing 20k a year so my mileage is going to shoot up but I've bought the car to enjoy so I'm not too worried about that. I thought about tucking the car in the unit and keeping it low mileage and keeping my audi but then I'd have two cars I never get chance to drive.

I only wanted a black one with red leather I'd looked at them before buying the audi and it was that spec that I'd fallen for. That's partly why my mx5 looks the way it does.

Other than my drivers door I'm loving the car

Whoa Wyldie :o , you've gone and changed your Avatar! Always a shock for me when that happens, I remember when Paulgs1000 lost his baby face avatar - took me ages to adjust :(
So I'm guessing your new one is a 'Selfie' then :D

I know. I'd noticed a few had changed of late and I'd recently been likened to Mr Rhys-Meyers. However, as I said in Carol's post, this was in a dark restaurant by someone who'd consumed rather a large amount of prosecco at the time so the likeness might not be 100%. Never the less, I am going to go with it for now....then might change to one of the dog or Z4 again, just to mix it up a little. :D

Welcome to the forum and the coupe club  Nice to see so many pictures, your Z4C looks awesome. (Although the M badge has got to go). Cheers

Hi, and another welcome to the exclusive black coupe club!

I went for a drive today with a mate in his clio trophy we did snake pass, bakewell, the cat and fiddle and all the roads in between. It was a good day out to learn the car a little more. I saw a few z4's along the way.

Hi everyone I'm Chris

I bought my sapphire black z4 coupe a couple of weeks back from Scotland. It's a 2007 on 44.5k miles it's an auto with the red leather. Ive bought it as a compromise from my daily which it replaces (audi a6 3.0tdi) and my weekend toy which is a supercharged mk1 mx5. I was not getting to use the mx5 very often so I wanted something that bridged the gap between both cars. The coupe does this perfectly it's comfy and handles well and to top things off looks amazing.

I'm hoping to get along to some meets and drives out in the future and hopefully will get to meet some of you.

Here's a few pics

Nice mx5 :) I've not driven mine since June last year but hopefully it'll be on the road in a couple of weeks. I am on mx5nutz under the same user name. I don't go on very often as it just makes me want to spend money.

I'm off to Scotland for a week in the coupe let's see if it's as fun as the mx5 was when it went round Europe.
