Hi just bought this car last week and I love it... I came from a new shape M3 and I have to say this car is deffo more fun.. Here is a couple of pics... The first jobs I did were to remove the small M badges from the sides, the Z4 badge from the rear and fit gloss black grilles to the front.. Oh and disconnected the exhaust valve in the open position and blocked off the vacuum pipe.. Hope you like

Fantastic looking motor you have there - Im not an expert on the E89 but I see some styling differences in this new model. Great engine spec too :driving:
 
Hi thanks for the welcome.... The ride is a bit harsh on them but I just keep telling my self it's a roadster it supposed to be like this haha... But I think when the time comes I will be changing to NRF.. Love the engine but I think I will be putting a JB4 on to it... Coming from 430bhp to 306bhp is quite a difference.. Do any one know where to get the exhaust tips changed over to chrome ones? Thanks
 
Hey Axelf, love the new motor. :wink: I did the same exhaust trick on my 35i. :wink: Hopefully will have some news on the exhaust tips for you later in the week. :D

Hi Andy.... You think it sounds a little better now??? Ohhhh I am intrigued as to what you finding out.. Waiting with baited breath :D
 
Had the car for a month now and must say I like it a lot more than the M5 and M3... This car just feels right in every way I look at it.... Managed to make my first national meet and met up with some great people...... :thumbsup: I am gutted that I am away at work for the mini meet that is happening on my doorstep :( ... But there will be others I am sure... This seems like a great forum a lot better than others... Thanks
