Hi all!

Recently bought a Z4 (E85) and absolutely loving it. Been reading this forum for a while, absorbing as much knowledge as I can. Look forward to integrating myself into this car community :)

Photos will be up soon (right after I get it cleaned). I got a good deal on it but the guy I bought it off Sorn'd it so it hasn't been cleaned. It doesn't look particularly good right now :(

Welcome to the madhouse.
Bit confused how Sorning stopped it getting cleaned? I assume he was a lazy type who drove it to the car wash?
Hopefully it's in better hands now and will get the attention it deserves.

Thanks!
As in, it wasn't being used. Arguably, yes this wouldn't prevent a clean, but I mean more that it was dirty from sitting around. Not specifically from being Sorn'd :). Looking forward to cleaning it up and doing some work to it!

Thanks @buzyg. Glad to be here!

Hi and welcome - looking forward to seeing a cleaned car.

Welcome to the forum, hope to see you on some of drives and breakfast meets in the area...when we are allowed to
Can't believe photos haven't been mentioned yet :P

Welcome bud. The Zed is probably the first car I've enjoyed cleaning since I sold my Z3 ten years ago.

Thank you! I'm getting it done professionally on Sunday. It's that bad that I'd rather give it a decent clean, also I live in an apartment so no outside tap, or the space, to clean it.

I'm dying to get some pictures up but I just don't think it would do it justice haha :P. Car meet sounds amazing, when the world had finished ending that is.

Thanks mate. I would love to clean it. It's just asking to but I don't have the facilities to do so. But I do get what you mean. I had never driven or sat inside a Zed before and when I drove it home I had the biggest smile on my face. I went from a 1.4 twin charged Golf GT. That thing was a lot of fun and I thought I liked that car but this thing is just another level! (And it's (only) the 2.5 version).

We will have a breakfast meet in Cirencester or possibly AV8 once the lock down is lifted. There is hopefully Zedfest and the Z4 Ace cafe meet later in the year.
You will need to get your name down for those though

Sounds good! I'll need to keep my ear to the ground for those so. Assuming details for those events are posted on here somewhere? :)

Just head over to the "Meets/Events/Road Trips" section from the main forum board.
