love the new shape, just can't afford one right now. The old shape still holds it own though and still a great looking car
 
Isthe intrerior a put off ?

I think it looks a nice looking Z, shame they didn't do the two variants as i'm not keen on the hard top convertable. Boot space vanishes when the roof is down and i could imagine being hacked of on a long ride with a full boot knowing i couldn't drop the roof.
 
i would prefer the new shape to the roadster but not to the coupe, so how do i vote?
 
The new one is nice very nice but it as lost the gusto look of the roadster but ok if you are a coupe nut :wink: :o
 
The new shape is lovely, but it is very much a different car.

I like the sporty feel of the old shape than what I have heard of the Grand Tourer-esq new shape (not ever having driven one myself)

I love the old shape and mine is pre-facelift. It ruffled a few feathers with its design back in 2002. The new Zed wasn't as ground breaking in design I feel and is less likely to become the classic the old shape almost certainly will.

I think you can like both, however as per a different recent thread, I'd rather spend my money on an M old shape than any of the new shape.

i prefer the new shape now... however at the time of buying mine i didnt like it... if i had held off buying mine 6 months i prob would have gone for a sdrive 3.0
 
I love the new Z4, looks modern and a bit more "get outta my way" styling. Plus you have got the best of both worlds...hard top up or down it looks ace!
 
I would have/buy a new shape,given the spare cash,but i do think its gone a bit soft. the Original z4 has a meaner look in comparison.
but a nice 35is would be ok to have in adition to my current z :D :driving:
