Looks like I'll be heading down to Salisbury some time after Christmas, weather permitting, to code in an airbag module for [ref]Trina[/ref]. That's a round trip of about 400 miles, so while I'm there I may as well see if anyone else needs any help in that area.
Obviously can't take on massive jobs but would do an overnight stay if needed.

All a bit vague right now but if you let me know if you need anything then I can get a plan together.

EDIT: Or of course anywhere on my route from Norfolk to Salisbury.

Indeed. After my little tour to Rochdale and back last weekend, I am quite enjoying the chance to get out and meet other members.
When people have been waiting ages to get their car an MOT, just for these pesky airbag modules, then it is great to be able to help them and leave them smiling.
My only limitation is how much kit I can fit into my little 2.2.
Off to Sussex next week to replace an electric water pump, thermostat and drive belt, so have to fit the ramps in!

Thank you. Tbh, it's just fun and keeps me busy now I've retired.

I’ve got a drivers window that won’t one click up and happy to meet in Salisbury if that’s within scope? I’ve tried all the ‘reset’ combinations via the switch itself but no luck.
Let me know the dates when you know, and I’ll make sure I’m around.

May just need coding but I’ve had some that don’t. I’ll keep this thread updated so keep watching

No problem. Once I get a date sorted we can arrange a meet up and at the very least leave you with a better idea where the issue is even if it isn't a simple tick box coding exercise.
 
Hi enuff_zed, just a quick one, I've recently got myself a Carly and ran a diagnostics and this error came up, any ideas what this could be. I'm close to Basingstoke:

0000DA
Auxiliary heating
This fault results from a generic communication issue in the ECU: Auxiliary Heating (Internal GR92)

Not seen that before tbh.
I often struggle to work out Carly wording

Yeah it does seem strange 😕

Are there any diagnostic tools/programmes that you'd recommend?

The coding on Carly is also quite limited tbh.
