New windshield now rain sensing wipers/auto lights dont work

So I had my windshield replaced and now my rain sensing wipers don't work in the rain and my automatic lights are always on. Can anyone verify where the auto lights get their light source from, is it the windshield? I told the place I had a rain sensing wiper and they said they'd put the correct windshield in.
 
Possibly just a case of them not connecting up the wiring. The light sensor will think it is dark and the rain sensor will never report rain.
 
that was exactly the case with my car!

I first checked the fuse and that was ok. Then I just moved the mirror around a bit and the plastic cover behind it comes off in two pieces. Sure enough, the guy just left the connector unplugged. I pulled the car in and out of my garage to verify it fixed the problem!
