New Windscreen

Hi, apologies for asking 2 completely different questions in the one thread but:

1. what could i expect to pay for a new front windscreen and fitting (mine has auto windscreen wipers - sorry not sure if they are standard on all). My car is due the NCT (MOT) test soon and i think it could fail as there is a small stone chip that has a crack about 1 inch wide.

2. what is the name of the rear light that is on the boot lid... might try get one off ebay

Sorry, i am on a motor trade policy so windscreen cover is not included

anyone know the correct name / terminology for the 3rd brake light :)

it really is called a third brake light.

In America, I believe it's also known as a Centre High Mount Stop Lamp, or CHMSL for short....


Edit: Infact, here's a full list of names:
third brake light, centre high mount stop lamp, centre brake lamp, eye-level brake lamp, safety brake lamp, high-level brake lamp, liddy light.

Do you think the clear light looks a little chavy... has anyone got a pic of one on a Sterling Grey
 
I picked up some clear indiactors, clear third brake light and ZHP knob from www.leatherz.com

Bit pricey on p&p to uk, but wanted the gearknob bad :D

£50 at the dealers. Slightly cheaper clear than red for some reason.
