Sorry, can't not have a laugh about it. Hope you did after, eventually! I feel kinds guilty for posting photos of my knob and possibly giving folk ideas :D

I've only one had to replace a screen many years ago and it was autoglass who did it. Can't remember any issues with them at all, but I'd watch them closely all the same.
 
yeah its just in the team valley, they are going to do it next to work but i think i might be able to blag an indoor space.

if the weather isnt right they said they wont come out.

and yes ally, its all your fault! no more interior mod posts please :P :D i can laugh now, the new gearknob looks better and is quite a bit shorter too. just need some new glass now :P
 
They fitted a screen for me in a Merc and it was scratched! To be fair to them there was no quibble and they fitted another the next week. I went home happy.

Dont worry about it!
