Finally got my new wheels fitted on Saturday :D

Looking really good Ste, that tyre pattern looks beastly too! Got to lie to myself that this stuff can't be done to mine ... Lol

Take it easy for the first couple of hundred miles on those vreds... very nice tyres (IMO) but little bit slippy when new :D
 
I like them... Prob with black alloys though is you need to keep on top of the tyre dressing!

+1 on the black bolts too!

Only like black wheels on grey, silver or yellow cars so :thumbsup:
I wouldn't have gone with gloss black myself but they look good Ste.

You look like you've been shrunk and photoshopped into the car in that first pic your mate took though :lol:
 
Cheers for all the comments guys :thumbsup: May consider black bolts at some point, for now I like how the silver goes with the b&w BMW centre cap, stands out pretty well.

@tomscott - they're 18" staggered, fill the arches perfectly for me (its lowered more since that picture, back was still high from being jacked up) 8)

@CarolM - i initially wanted gunmental/anthracite/matt wheels but couldn't find any I liked in 18" so just bit the bullet and got these, in person though they're really good and I'm glad with the choice

@aquazi - haha yep, will be tyre gelling every weekend methinks 8)

@sp3ctre - cheers buddy, giving them plenty of time to bed but early indications are they really are a great tyre, so thanks to all who recommended.

I still maintain my claim that the paint on that car is some of the best I've ever seen. Just look at the bonnet reflections in that first pic.

Haha was wondering when you'd see this, when I told you I wanted to change the wheels I didn't think it'd take this long 8)

And yeah, paintwork was/is amazing, that supaguard stuff has really done its job, as have all the owners. I hope i've kept up the high standard, only the best in cleaning products and routine :D Front bumper has a few battle scars in terms of chips from poor road surfaces, but that aside she's mint 8)
