Was nice and suny so took the opportunity to drive somewhere nice(ish) and capture some pictures of my new wheels fitted...

My car badly needs a drop now.. but as its still under 3 years and only 15k miles i feel changing the springs before they break will be letting BMW off the hook

They are 19" VMR 710, 9.5 (ET45) and 8.5 (ET40), fitted with 265/30 and 235/35 profile tyres.

And the tyre goo (thanks to srhutch for the idea -its pointless carrying oil around!)

Fantastic dude

I'm also rockin' a set of 19" V710s but in Gunmetal. I absolutely love them and they've treated me well :). I drove 10 hours on a road trip to the beach through I-95 in the USA (some sh*tty roads :( ) but we made it forward and back without ANY problems and no scratches/chips.

Great choice man, they looks so clean on hypersilver :D

I think the wheels do look a little too large for the car... in hindsight maybe i would have gone for 18's instead.. but my biggest worry was the ride comfort but its unbeliveable how much better these ride!

I actually saw yours which made me go for these over the vb3!

Also less spokes = easier to clean

Looking good :D

The vrdstn's are great. i have used them for yrs on various cars, and they tend to grip very well in the wet to any other brand i have had/especially when they start to get partially worn, they tend to grip better compared to other brands,eg my bridgestones were a nightmare in the wet once they got half-worn!!

u won't regret it  :driving:

tyres comment relates to your other post(aqzi); lol

Looks great on the 19s BUT a drop may cause rubbing issues - just something to be mindful off before you commit the cash etc

Yup Nice wheels. When I saw Richards at the weekend I couldn't stop looking at them, they are stunning. Nice pics Aquazi but I don't think they do the wheels justice these wheels look soooooo much better in the flesh so to speak.

Cheers.. they do look very nice.. but the ride height it really begining to bug me! Reminds of those VW Golf's you see where people have put 19" with standard springs and they look stupid and oversized.. never thought a Z on sport springs would look so bad

Some offset pics which imo are spot on :
