New wheels what you think?

I looked at these before I got the 313s. I think they're one of the best designs on an e89 I've ever seen.

A) they're M5/6 wheels
B) if you get the originals 1) they're the wrong offset and 2) they cost a fortune
C) if you get replicas, again wrong offset you might need to correct with spacers but more importantly there's a few stories of them failing (cracking at both rim and hub has been reported on 19/20" variants because they're not very well made.

So, when the chance to get OEM 313s cheap, I went for it.

Ill go for replicas i think, i found a et35/et38 should fit in this offset?

Standard offset is ET29 fronts and ET40 rears, I would check but I'm pretty sure with ET35 the fronts will sit further in by 6mm and ET38 the rears will sit further out by 2mm. Rears should be OK but I would check the fronts for clearance on full lock or use a spacer as they might look a little odd being further in the arch.

Also check the PCD and centre bore, most BMWs are PCD5x120 and centre bore 72.5mm, unsure what it is on the E89.

yeah they fit ok they are from Bmautosport had few replica and real sets been perfect from them on various BBS alloys, they listed as z4 e89 also . The ones on that photo are 100% same offsets aswell.

They are slightly narrow compared to these http://www.bmautosport.co.uk/showroom/product_info.php/new-avant-garde-m355-five-spoke-alloys-gunmetalpol-deeper-concave-rear-p-4045?cPath=51_27_194_198_294

If you are going for those try CM WHEELS They are cheaper and I believe do free delivery for forum members.

If you go for wider fronts be careful of tire choice or you may end up tramlining everywhere which isn't pleasant. I found this with the Z3 and changed back to a narrower width. Zeds regardless can be senstive to wheel and tyre choice.

You would probably need spacers on the fronts as well because with a 9 inch width, with that offset, you would be losing about 19mm inner clearance.

The above picture is same spec without spacers, i need to get them fitted and really have a look as haven't seen them fitted on any e89 cars apart form the promotion photo as above.

Had this setup on mine for awhile
