After fitting the Bilstein B16 suspension kit (Bilstein shocks with Eibach springs) and 19" 313M wheels, I found the ride a bit too harsh so decided to go back to 18" wheels which arrived today.

APEX ARC-8 Hyper-Black wheels 8.5" ET38 front & 9.5" ET22 rear with Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 tyres, 235/40/18 front & 265/35/18 rear.

Won't know how the ride is until next week when I tax the car and get it back on the road after a spell on SORN but I'm pleased with the looks..

Looks fantastic surprised how many people have changed back from 19s to 18s I decided to stop will 18s for this very reason

Wheels look great and I agree that the ride on 18's is much better than on 19s.

Why the smaller tyres (2-3%) than original so your speedo will over-read even more than normal. I'd have thought the better wise would have been 235/45 and 265/40 to keep it at around 1% difference which would make the speedo more accurate.

Chose the the sizes after consultation with the wheel manufacturer re clearances, offsets, etc and taking into account the B16 kit lowers the car about an inch at the front and ½ inch at the back.
[Also the sizes Beedub recommended in another thread :)]

Hmmm, means I might have to revisit my tyre sizes once my B16/PSS10 kit goes on :headbang:

yup.... pretty much when you start changing the offset/ widths/ suspension your going to have to compromise somewhere, aspect ratio and tyre width sadly are the compromise. my GPS comparison says it is like 2 mph out however, not a major deal.

I'm sure the OP can confirm the back at this setup is much flush with the fender line.
