New wheels! Style 350m on E86

So I found a set of style 350 m sport wheels last night for dirt cheap here in Aus and in great condition too. Decided to try them out, both front and rears are the rear 18x9" +44 size with 235/40/18 up front and 265/30/18 on the rears. They sit pretty well on my m sport suspension and are more flush than the stock 203 wheels (which I never liked too much). I've ran 19"s before but I much prefer 18's and these are perfect as I don't need to run spacers to get them to sit flush.

The 235/40s work pretty well on the front wheels, I though there would be a huge amount of stretch on the 9" wheel but it isn't too bad at all!

I'm planning on lowering the car on some Eibach springs, hopefully there won't be any rubbing or if any quite minimal. I guess I could always change the front tyres to a 225/40 or a 245/255/35 (which is closer to the standard 225/40's the car came with on the front).

This gives an idea of what they would look like lowered.

I'm actually not too fussed even if I don't lower them, don't mind them at all on the m sport suspension.

It's always good to see something different - I think they look great.

Well done for trying something new, I think we often fall into the trap of going with the norm however it’s good to remember there’s no right or wrong it’s whatever you prefer

Ok so I lowered the car on Eibach springs and put 10mm spacers on the rear (with extended bolts) and I'm absolutely loving the look!
