New wheels on

Swapped my wheels over for the 290's this morning, felt noticeably lighter while juggling with them & the drive was a revelation, less road noise and a magic carpet ride!
Much less crashy and now floats over damaged roads-I can recommend this wheel swap :driving:
The zeds filthy from muddy country lanes now, very pleased though.

Hmmmm.....not what we want to hear....

Are you going to stick to 18’s full time then Mr B?

They’re actually 17’s, but Size doesn’t matter-right? :P

Interesting feedback OP.

I must get around to fitting my non-RFT winters on my Z.

My winters are even titchier at 16" but the tall 50mm profile, as ur experiencing Rob, turns it into a zed that has air suspension  very comfortable, dials out all the jitteryness and crashyness. A smidge wallowy in the twistys perhaps but a joy to drive.
I must be getting old. Like Fred.

Sorry Rob, you can’t keep them on all year round! They’re not doing the car justice!

I look forward to seeing it on 19’s! Love the colour of yours

Hey Rob,
Ive got the same wheels as winters! Bought them on a German ebay site with Pirelli winter RFTs, so maybe the ride won’t be as magic carpet as yours is!
Gonna fit them this week, even though I know here in NE Scotland it will be 20 degrees all week as that is the law whenever I fit winters on my cars.....
