New wheels on the way tyres needed

Looking about for new tyres for the Z and was wondering if anyone out there
Have fitted Avon or Toyo and what they thought of them?

I had toyo t1r on my s2k, great grip, but didnt last long.

I have vreds on my 710's, great choice on rims !

Just look for vreds tyres but no hits :?
 
try - vredestein, people call then vreds

they are awesome had them on the m3 (vredestein ultrac sessanta) and for the money they are the best you can by and they have a new tyre the Vorti and thats meant to be even better

camskills or lovetyres are cheapest :thumbsup:

710 ftw , i think they look better than csl and not as common!! :thumbsup:
 
Not had much luck with buying VMR wheel, :cry:
Can anyone out there suggest a good place to buy in the UK?

What do you mean? They are somewhat aping the CSL wheel design but they don't claim to be proper CSL wheels, the VMR V703 are much more like the CSL wheels than the V710 by the way.

Also check out the Apex ARC-8 wheels. They too look like the CSL's but even lighter. Very popular as track wheels in the US. And their new EC-7 model also looks very nice, it's made to look like the BBS wheels from the E92 M3 Competition and GTS.

They're a bit noisy but they grip well in wet and dry conditions. That said they are just rubbish in the cold.

I agree with this, much worse then my bridgestones in the snow... Absolutely useless.

But fantastic in warm weather. My rears lasted about 12k miles too.
