New wheels on my Z4??

I've not bought these yet but tried my friends wheels on before buying.

A lot of folks like those, but to me they seem a little too "spokey".
Too much empty space, plus they look like they narrow at the hub, which makes them look a bit fragile.
But then, they say "Opinions are like....", well, you know... :D
 
They are 19" M6 replicas, obviously the car is lowered a bit as well.They do look 'big' but that is the look i like, when i put my 18s against the 19s the height (rolling radius) is the same. The lower profile tyres on the 19s may cause a harder ride but the originals had the harder RFT.

Not too worried about changes to performance as i don't 'track' the car and i have my R1 bike for 'performance' :thumbsup:
 
I'm not sure about them on a grey car and they do look a bit too large. You'd have to lower it a touch.

Definetly helped me decide on 18"s if I ever go for the change.
 
look awful IMHO- they were designed for an M6 and should stay on it- they only suit it! Saw an E60 M5 running them and it looked awful! Besides your ellipsoids looked great!
 
Cheers for the comments guys, good and bad.I guess it's all personal taste, i like them alot and most comments seem positive.If everyone said..........noooooooooooo! then i'd have to rethink. :thumbsup:
 
I have the M6 replicas, 19" with Eagle F1s...previously had 18" ellipsoids with runflats.

The ride is SIGNIFICANTLY better now in terms of comfort (bumps are much softer) but I lost some stiffness going in steep turns.

The wheels really look great on a titanium silver. I get alot of compliments whereas before no one said a word about the ellipsoids.

Dew's show me some pictures of titanium silver with the M6 replicas... i got same colour and seriously considering the wheels when i go wheel shopping this weekend.
