Well Guys

The Porker is now gone .. mainly due to Porsche Paranoia of the 996 a really super car but the worry is always there and decided that I did not want to pay out 5/6k on a big problem, the next porker will be the 996T or a 997.2 this way the paranoia will not exist! Just a bit punchy at the moment price wise

So after some careful consideration I soon released that a 4 seater sports car was a waste of time seeing ultimately there quite impractical re buggy baby seat etc etc, I decided just to get an out and out 2 seater hooning beast! , I did toy with the Cayman S again but it would never be as nice as my first one so decided against it!

I was after something that was relativity deprecation proof , running cost had to be low, also it had to have low disasters costs and with that reliability eg. Engine etc. One of my good friends recently purchased an Exige and I could not help falling for it a little , so when deciding what I wanted in the above categories it became clear what the next purchased would be. As the Toyota block had a great rep and was a fun drive.

I did almost buy a Noble M12 GTO 3R and boy what a car! Fastest car I have ever driven and looks brutal ... but Mrs Paza was not a fan said it looked a bit “Kev” for the money and some parts did look like it was made of Cornflake boxes and double sided tape....... So decided against .. an excellent car just a bit kit carish for me. The Exige was back on the top of the list..

I managed to source a beaut! last owner for 6 years and has covered since new 14.3k miles FSH and looks and drives like it. It was also in a bonkers colour which is always good! So I have a prefect little garage queen and cannot wait to pick her up just waiting for the V5 to come back as the PP is coming off , enjoy!

8) Wonderful! Don't normally like stripes however the silver edge works very well - waspish! Supercharged at all?

Nah sadly not just the n/a there was a wonderful Chrome Orange S for sale around 25/26k but was just a bit rich for my pockets at the moment so decided to get the best n/a I could find and managed to get a great price on this :), agree re the silver it really works

The same reason I sold my 996 that you just never know feeling and with an engine rebuild at£6000+ love the lotus great colour so relax and enjoy

Nice one

I'm going to hear that hooning up and down the lane, and probably see the reflections on the wall in the house!

Hahahaha yeah reckon so I have already bought my first mod! a quicksliver exhaust which is a bit like a Lotus Stage 2 exhaust!

Rock solid residuals, they just don't move. Just need to adjust the cam change point and it will be a different car.

if you do decide to add a SC, from my celica days i know a very good place that deals with the VVTLi block - which has added loads of rotrex to them.

Very nice mate - I had an Exige S 220 - I really enjoyed it, however it didn't feel quite as nimble as the S1 Elise it was replacing.

I can see you've got the 190hp non-supercharged version - in a lot of peoples opinions the sweeter option vs the supercharged version which just heatsoaks all of its power away and weighs a lot more.

I used to get passed on the back straight at Bedford in my 220S by the N/A Exige boys... used to be so frustrating, they could pull 10mph more than me due to heatsoak!!

I trust it's wearing the obligatory A048s?
