New wheels incoming!

Reliving my childhood. I had this exact car in the late 80s and recently found out it had be re-released so had to have it :D

Had one back in the late 80s too.
Had to make up a pair of wheely bars from a wire coat hanger, otherwise switching from reverse to forwards just rolled it over on it's back.
I seem to remember you could change the final drive ratio too? Or am I thinking of a different model?

I'll have you know this is a proper grown-ups toy. You have to build every piece from scratch including the gearbox

You can indeed. Lots of tinkering to be done, but I'm going to go straight for a brush less motor :)

Funny this thread popped up again today as I actually just completed my custom paint and decal job...
