Why did you sell? Are you another who didn't enjoy the engine?
 
I have to say I didn't mind the engine noise. I took the decision in mid January when they announced the new GTS would have a slightly detuned flat six N/A GT4 engine that the second hand values of the existing F4T GTS' were going to fall off the edge of a cliff. I therefore sold my existing GTS and have placed an order for the new four litre. I have a provisional build slot for June but that now is obviously very unlikely to happen.


Ignore what everyone says about the F4 engine noise and just enjoy your Boxster.

Very nice indeed. I had a Cayman for the day from Porsche and I thought it was fantastic in every way so not worried about feeling disappointed in it at all.

Next couple of days will determine if I get my car next week. Spoke to Porsche today and they're not certain it's going to happen. It'll be what it'll be!
 
my Porsche dealer opposite my work have just had a load dropped off, so there coming through.
just hope yours is one of them. :D

It was due to go on the back of a transporter today. I'll find out tomorrow if that happened!
 
So it's en-route to Edinburgh but with the latest government updates it's looking less and less likely I'll be able to collect it

Evening all. Thought I'd pop in and say hello!

Porsche called me today to tell me that all their staff have now been taken off furlough and are due to have a phased return to work from May 20th. Not sure how this works yet, but they're hoping to have this handed to me the following week.

Interesting to see how it pans out

Hi all. I will be able to wrap this thread up soon after a 9 week wait. Car is lined up ready to be collected and delivered to me on a covered trailer...

Just wanted to close the loop on this thread and thank everyone who helped me get to this point. Car was delivered this morning on a covered trailer. Plenty of curtain twitchers around today😂

Also extremely pleased I can get my gold clubs in the boot!!

I'd originally intended to leave this forum, but I find myself being drawn back in all the time so I might be sticking around after all!
