After 4 years of happy Z4 ownership I've decided it's time for a change and today I signed all the paper work on this bad boy.

With £21k of extras from new, it's extremely well optioned including Bose upgrade, sports chrono package, sports exhaust, GTS lights etc. 18 months old And 12k on the clock.

Pickup next week. Cannot wait!!

Now that is a mighty fine slice of eye candy 8) all my admiration for remaining resolute in your quest , it must be at least 3-4 maybe 5 months in the making to get here ?
:driving: best of times ahead , yes the brand has suffered its fair amount of woes but Porsche ownership is special , sure you will relish every mile

Thanks chaps. It's been in the pipeline a good while for sure. Just glad I've finally committed!

I very nearly said that, but didn't want to cause any offence!

But parked at race circuits, etc. it was easy to find my old Imola Red 3 Series - it's a bit of a challenge with my current one in Sparkling Graphite.

Not at all! It's definitely a marmite colour. Me, I'm a poser so the Lava Orange works perfectly for me :)

I must be a poseur too, I love that, it’d be my choice of colour or lime green. It looks fantastic, enjoy

Had they done the Boxster in the 911 green I would DEFINITELY waited for one, but alas.

I'm pretty chuffed with Lava!

  That’s the one, I’m not really up on colours in the different ranges. No wonder you’re chuffed with Lava, it’s lovely and I’m not jealous at all :headbang:

I am just drooling! What a magnificent machine!

I've probably wet myself 5 or 6 times in the last week!
I had a Guards Red Cayman a few years ago. It looked beautiful and I just loved the shape. But I missed the open air motoring and I was paranoid about parking it anywhere. So in the end I didn’t use it much and consequently didn’t get the enjoyment from it that I should have had. I am sure you won’t make the same mistake. No doubt you will keep Forum members up to date on how you find your new toy.

That's a real shame. I'm a year-round top-down kinda guy so will certainly have it open all the time as long as it's dry!

I do too now. I have a 3.5is. As long as it’s dry and there is no salt on the road I have the top down. Being retired my driving is relatively limited these days but I enjoy every minute when I’m in the Z. SWMBO isn’t always that keen but is very patient with me. Anyone who sees cars only as a means of getting from A to B just doesn’t understand how much pleasure is to be had from owning and driving a decent car. :D

That's a real cracker. Having had a 718 Cayman, I am sure you are going to enjoy the driving experience
