New wheels fitted!

New wheels fitted, and very pleased with how they have turned out. Long road from purchasing these back in September in the UK, and shipping to NZ just before Christmas.

They were pretty munted with a lot of surface corrosion and flaking paint, but after 2 bags of beads (blasting) and a powder coat, they came up like brand new!

Not an original BMW colour, but it is growing on me. Love the look of the 224s as they really set the back off nicely with wider rims and a lower offset than the 200s.

I fitted my newly refurbed 224s to my Z4 last week, and added the "M" stickers on Saturday - now you just need a set of those!

Yes, I do! Used to be able to buy them in NZ, but now it looks like they will need to come from China ......
 
Glad you managed to get a set, I remember you were looking for a set for a while!

As above, 224’s look great on the e85 and e86! :thumbsup:
 
They look good came up good, reminds me of the street I stayed in Upper Hutt... jealous of that blue sky
