No more tramlining with the new rubber either, amazing the difference new tyres make, feels so much more solid.

Alarming amount of black dirt (pieces rather than powder) on the wheels from a 60 mile trip, most of it motorway so little braking - guessing it's just hub debris from wheels being changed, or do cars really get this dirty & my old wheel colour just hid it??

Given them a quick was just in case :)

And more than likely the angle of the drive
 
Photos were taken without the car having been driven after it was jacked up. Drive slope is also a factor, but ideally it would get lowered as it's a larger gap than I would like...but was hoping nobody pointed it out. Grrrrr!

The challenge for me lowering it is the slope angle of the work multi-storey and the speed bumps they have put every 10 metres or so. I already have to crawl over them, any lower & I won't get in without losing paint.

Scarily a customer I visit has such high speed humps I genuinely don't think I could get over them with standard height - was glad I was being driven by one of my team.

That looks bloody marvellous!

A Z4 on CSL's is a common sight on here but out on the road, it's very rare to see such a combination. I mostly see 107's and 108's.

I'm sure I can take some more for you, certainly not many Amarone leathers about - when my wife was buying her Z roadster there was one in Stratus & Amarone, but she wasn't playing ball on fully matching cars.

Not seen another Amarone in the wild, no idea how many they put the option into. Given the relatively low number of Stratus coupes out there, overlaid with the leather colour option, I like to think it must only be one of a handful.

Certainly what made me buy the same car twice!

It is gorgeous as a combo mj2k and I can see why you'd purchase twice. An often overlooked exterior colour and with the rare interior spec, even better :thumbsup:

Stratus is a bloody nice colour n as for lowering- I was really surprised how good the clearance was given how low my old coupe looked. My previous car, although looked considerably higher, struggled with speed humps the z4 breezed over! The only issue I found was the large rims would occasionally catch the inner arch on one side if I didn't slow down enough, so not the height of the hump per se. So basically- DROP IT! :poke:
 
Rollocks...just washed the car.

I've lost 2 of the //M badges from the front wheels already, not even been driving fast!

They were from BMAutosport & were fitted when I received the wheels, am guessing the surface was not prepped / grease free. Doubt they were original - perhaps the originals will stick better but £5ish each.

Oh and a 1mm chip on a spoke too.

Bugger.
