New wheels fitted.....not sure

What's the offset and width of the front wheels? They should be fine, though they do look as if they poke out quite a lot.

As said above, tyre gel and some decent angled pics do wonders. Another member has these style wheels (albeit in a darker grey) and they look magnificent on his Z4.

They're 8.5" ET35 fronts. I'm not sure whether to let them rub until they've rubbed a hole or Dremel the section out

I have the same width wheels with the same offsets running on eibachs without rubbing issues.
You are playing with small margins when you change wheels and tyres and it may be something as simple as your tyre width. If you are running a 235 width try a 225 width.

You're going to modify the car, so that the wheels that you don't really like, fit ? :o

I know what they need :D !!!!!
after covering a few miles the brake dust has darkened the silver.....that's it!! I think they need a bit of definition between the painted surfaces and the polished surfaces....off to wheel refurbishers to get a quote

Maybe just a darker grey on the painted surfaces.

Decided to go black after all. I masked off the diamond cut bits and sprayed the painted surfaces black. Whilst the masking tape was on they were totally black which looked good. Once the tape was off to reveal the cut faces I wasn't keen again so it's off to Amazing Alloys to have them done on black....Prob satin/matt something like this...

I dropped them at the refurber's today to have them finished in a semi matt black. They were silver with diamond cut outer lip and spoke faces. Don't get me wrong they're a lovely wheel but just didn't do it for me. BM Autosport 3SDM 001
