I really think these should have been on Z4M from the factory and available on the 3.0 as well for that matter. Probably the best looking wheels I have seen on any E85/6, BMW no doubt would have shifted more cars had they fitted these!
The combination of the wheels, springs and spacers really does completely change the look/stance of the car. Does give it the wow factor. I know that sounds like stating the obvious but how many times do you see posts where someone has changed the wheels or lowered it (or both) and you think yes it looks different/nice but you think to yourself, its not that much of an improvement especially for the costs involved. But you have really nailed it there. Your's and Mr Wilks' comments on wheel tyre size options have got me re-thinking the whole wheel thing again. Just when I had finally made my mind up to keep my 107s and get them refurbed!

Are all E46 M3 19"" wheels of this type the same in regard to off set PCD and whatever else might make one set different to another.andrewr said:

Hi buddy the m3 wheels come in a staggered set up with non favorable offsets on the rear. So what Andrew has done is buy 4 front wheels and then used spacer to get them right in the wheel arches. The PCD is the same the only problem being the rears dont fit well on non M cars.

If you don't mind me asking how much did Lepsons charge for the refurb?
The total price was £380+ VAT, and I had to pay about £20 extra to have some welding done on one wheel as they needed to add a little metal for a deeper kerb rash. I also got Lepsons to supply and fit the tyres too, this obviously depends on which tyres you go for.

If you try to source 4x front wheels, just take care. There are a lot of replicas out there. I bought mine individually totaling less than £200, what you don't want to do is buy 3x genuine wheels, and 1 replica!

Just to clarify and my apology for the total lack of understanding on the subject.
You used 15mm front and 20mm rear spacers, yet the M3 front wheels have a 41mm offset compared to the Z4 47mm offset meaning the M3 wheels stick out by an extra 6mm, so why the need for spacers or are they only used to achieve a certain cosmetic look.
Is it safe to say as long as the M3 wheels I buy I have a 41mm offset then they must be fronts and i can then play with spacers to suit the look I want

That said I thought the front offset on the M3 wheels was the same ET47 as the standard zed wheels front wheels and close to the ET50 on the standard rear wheels. This is what I have seen listed in a few places but obviously I don't actually have the wheels to physically confirm this. Can someone confirm this one way or the other.
