New Wheels Decision. Options

Hi Everyone..

I am off to BMAutosport tomorrow to purchase new wheels...

The options I like are on the links below..I have a Montego Blue 3.0 Si Roadster..

What do you think... I have gloss black winter wheels on at the moment whichI think look :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

I will post pics soon but due to the fact they are taking my wheels as px I am having to go down in my van otherwise I need to faff about changing the winters etc...

I don't think grey or dark wheels suit blue cars, better off going with something contrasting I like the silver GTS
 
If it is maldives blue ( light blue ) .. black wheels, black boot and black mirrors are just perfect.


For dark blue .. black can go well if it is combined with other elements.

I did look at that one ..but thought the Option 1 with the polished face was a better contrast..purely because the Silver breaks it up a bit..

I had this type of wheel fitted to a dark blue TT and when we went to France on a trip everyone was stopping to take photos of the wheels.. :lol:

its not about the size of the wheel... its about suspension.. with stock ones any 19 will look like off road :)

17' 103 style bmw wheels - painted black ( or similar ) + Eiback springs will look fantastic.


i like this style :) and you will keep some sort of comfort.----- with 19' wheels driving is ....... :)

I have just purchased a set of 18 inch Vreds ..so wanted to use them really.. depends on what deal I get tomorrow.. :thumbsup:

I have a set of lowering springs ready to go on as well when the Spring finally gets here..
 
Option 3 for me.

thought you had a set of 108s you wanted to get refurbed, i'm not a massive fan of after market wheels but if i had to choose it would be option 3

Turns out Jan that because the 108s I picked up had been sprayed over..when it came to separate the rim..the bolts were that bad that most would need to be replaced..that's if they could get them out..so BMAutosport would take P/x so seemed the best bet..
 
Hi Mark,I think all the wheels look great,but then I am easily pleased.My only concern is that the polished face wheels may start to corrode at some stage.
 
Just to let you know that I went for Option 2 in the end..I know it will not be to people's taste ..but I like them and that's all that matters..

I can't supply any pics because I had to go there in my van due to the fact of having 2 sets to p/ex and my car still having the winters fitted..

But..I must say Mark at BM was very good and very knowledgeable about wheels ..he was also very fair in his pricing for the part ex as well..

I am having lowering springs fitted to the car ..then the wheels will go on..so when all is done I will post some pics..

I would definitely recommend BMAutosport though for anyone who is thinking about genuine OR aftermarket wheels because their wheels are super quality and the service is spot on and appointment only..

Just noticed you beat me to it :)

These Zito's really are great quality wheels, been driving all through this bad weather + the days they have salted the roads and taken some pretty hard thumps voa pot holes and they still look like brand new.
