New Wheels: 19" 1AV ZX1 (DIRECTIONAL)

Hello all,

Considering these wheels for the Z4

Has anyone had any experience with them? Got photos of them on their Z?

Also, I know these are 19" wheels, there seems to be quite some debate on 18" vs 19". I am on 17" right now... Im guessing I will feel quite a difference.

They are a little gangsta for my liking ..... also never been a fan of black wheels and E89s running Black / Black you lose all impact imho.
 
Yeah i get that.

however, the Batmobile look it kinda what I wanna go for.
While in San Fran recently saw a fully black e89 and it looked very nice and confirmed the direction for me.

It's your car, your hard earned cash and you need to have what you want. If you're in any doubt then maybe you haven't yet found the right wheel so keep looking.

I'd definitely go for 19's - it's a great car and it deserves wheels to match, but if you're going for the "black on black look" then I think you have to carry the theme all through the car.

Not something I'd go for now. I want a classy GT rather than a stealth fighter, but it can look OK when done right. Just my view. :driving:
 
Normally see them on VW clitoris vans :rofl:

Be interesting to see what they look like in the Z, could look better in shadow chrome.
 
I would avoid the black shadow look, makes the car look smaller and blanks out all the highlights of the body shape, white is the same, it kills contours and shading.
 
19s it is then. I kinda knew that's what I wanted anyway.

So this is the order: anyone see a problem. Went to a custom tyre profile to get a bit of extra comfort. Will this work?
