New wheel

Took delivery today of another steering wheel.
Been looking for while for some of the later paddles for the 35i to get rid of the push pull ones on it. No joy for ages then I spot a complete m sport wheel with later paddles at a breakers. Not bad money but not quite as nice as I would have liked. It should clean up fine but has a few marks in it, luckily they are either at the bottom and on the back side. Will get it on and use it for a while and the decide if I want to get it re covered at Royals like I had done on my last Z.

Managed to get the wheel on this afternoon after work and I'm pleased with how it feels, it also cleaned up well, just a few marks in the leather which I can cope with.

Yeah my TT 3.2 had a wheel that he did for me, it makes such a huge difference to how the car feels inside! Bring on tomorrow!!!

Been out in mine today for the first time after swapping my wheel and what a difference it has made, just the fact that it's thicker and feels softer it gives the car more feel and thats just a standard M sport one. Looks like i'll be holding off a Royals re cover just yet :driving:

Good. Not because Royal aren't excellent, but just because it's fun when a breaker's yard buy works.
(In my experience, Gliptone leather conditioner and a little gentle heat works wonders on most marks.)

Yes I had heard that a bit of heat or steam might lift the odd mark that's on it, I might just be giving that go at some point. Cheers
