Thought id say hi to everyone - im a new user here and have taken delivery of my Z4 last weekend so will be frequenting these forums asking for advice and reading your posts!

My car - 3.0si Sport Coupe (manual) - built end of 2007;
Montego Blue
Xenons
Sat Nav
Heated Seats
Cruise Control
Voice Control System (multi function wheel)
Bluetooth phone prep
+ all the standard goodies that come with the si (like the M-sport seats/steering wheel etc)

Just getting used to it - but so far, i absolutely love it - its a great cruiser, returning good mpg figures, and hitting the sport button on a twisty road is just fantastic! Its currently running run-flat tyres, but from what ive read on here, as soon as i have an excuse i will be getting rid of them as its a bit too twitchy for my liking on them (and tramlines a lot)..

Certainly an upgrade from my last car (06 A3 2.0tdi sport)... :thumbsup:

I do have one question - i had the car delivered to my house as was unable to collect it - so i didnt go through any setup with the dealer - but theres a few options i would like to change such as;
- auto lock when it starts moving
- 3 signal indicator
- interior light timings

Is there any way i can do these myself? or do i need to take it back to a BMW dealership?

Thanks!

polak - welcome

From Poland I assume or Polish heritage? If so where abouts as I've spent a lot of time out there.

In terms of programming there are some things for the car and somethings specific to each key. It's also controlled by age and market so for instance you probably can't have 3 signal int he UK.

I suggest phone the dealer and ask him to fax/ email your car specific choice list then take it in to be programmed. You might just blag it free of charge as your a new customer else £20 to £40

BTW - Before anyone shouts it's best to post some pictures of the new Zed or at least post that you will real soon... :)

Your amongst friends here…..Welcome from this side of the rainbow. :) I had some of those options done by the dealer. I could have had up to 4 options coded for $50.00
