Hi. I've just bought myself a 2006 2.5si SE. I haven't got it yet, it's being delivered on Friday, but I kind of know what to expect as my ex had a 2.0. I'm coming from a Toyota MR2 Roadster which has been a good fun little car, but I thought it was time for something a bit more sophisticated!I was originally considering a coupe Z4 but having had a soft top for the past 6 years I think I would miss it. Any other 2.5si owners on here? I've also got a couple of BMW motorbikes, any other bikers on here?

Welcome aboard, I have a 2.5si sport bought pre regisered with 71 miles on the clock now just over 12k in 12 months.

Not many 2.5si on here from memory.

Just remember to post some pics as soon as you can.
 
Welcome :D As former Mr2 Roadster owners like youselves you'll know that the Z'd is very different - in a point a squirt I think the MR2 would give a Z'd a good shake - its a tricky little motor on the limit but the Z'd is a grunt and grip :D The MR2 had 160 odd horses and weighs about the same as a feather - the z'd feels very very different - but good - very good in fact :P
 
Your amongst friends here…..Welcome from this side of the rainbow. :D No BMW bikes here but I am a demon on a Schwann Roadmaster. I sometimes take turns in speeds in excess of 10 mph, but most of the time, I just fall off and wet myself.

Hope your enjoying the car! I just traded in my 2.5 for a 3.0si about a month ago. Loved the 2.5. I drove her into the ground (literally, into a ditch! LOL).
